LungtaTravels is a leader in initiating eco-tourism in Ladakh, with the goal of insuring a sustainable future for the region.

Founded in 1998 by the experienced guides and brothers Tsewang Gonbo, Dorje Angchuk, and Lama Dorje Tsering, LungtaTravels offers a wide range of tours and expeditions in Ladakh and Zanskar. Our itineraries emphasize natural history and culture, and include trekking and mountaineering expeditions, jeep safaris, monastery tours, cultural tours, anthropological tours, botanical tours, and assistance to researchers.

LungaTravels offers Ladakh’s diversity of snow-capped peaks over 18,000’ to challenge climbers, and the Indus and Zanskar rivers to provide rafters the thrill of Whitewater. For non-trekkers we offer overland jeep safaris to Ladakh from Lahaul/Spiti, and from Manali to the high-altitude lakes of Tsomoriri and Pangong Tso, the picturesque Nubra valley and the Dha Hanu and Changthang regions.
