The Epic Journey through Enigmatic Zanskar Valley: A Trekker’s Paradise

Few are privileged to venture into the heart of the mysterious Zanskar Valley, and for those who do it is the experience of a lifetime. Isolated villages, remote monasteries, white stupas, carved stone mani walls, and multi-colored prayer flags form part of the dramatic and striking landscape. This 22 day exciting and strenuous itinerary is our most challenging trek, crossing several rivers, exploring Zanskari culture, and sometimes going far beyond the reaches of human habitation. This is truly one of the finest treks in the Himalayas.

At the end of the trek are two possibilities:

– Drive to Leh and fly to Delhi; or

– Drive to Delhi via Manali from Darsha Sumdo.

There is also the opportunity, if time is a constraint, to end the trek at Padum (Day 10), returning to Leh by taxi.
